Following Sherryl Sandberg hashtag #mentorher and the importance of leadership for women of colors in the workplace. The campaign is about to commit to #mentorher in the workplace. Could this hashtag be expanded to the home? From our cultural point of view how communication shapes the decision making in our relationships? Do we spend the quality time to mentor each other? Either at one of the 3 hypothetical tables that we used to have in our homeland? From my experience all the important decisions were made at our tables by four of us. Is technology has soothed this communication or made it harder to understand our words? Sometimes the overwhelming and hardship of fast-paced living condition as an immigrant make this communication burdensome that falls to some misunderstandings to take the proper outcomes of our face to face/quality time.
